Who's task is it?

Woman working at deskWe are continually each and every day bombarded by or coerced into doing other people’s tasks. This leads to worry and anxiousness about completing all tasks and we mix up our own tasks with those of other people.

When you separate and label who is responsible for the tasks in front of us it helps to put clarity into your production. And this goes even further, we should not intrude on other people’s tasks, even though they appear to invite us to do so.

The result of separating other people’s tasks from your tasks is mental freedom which leads to more energy and more ability to concentrate on your own tasks.

Also, somewhere in the middle of having more calmness and control, as you cannot really control someone else’s tasks, you reach a point where you achieve the ability to relax for real and that leads to a calm, healthy state where you become more and more your true self. All of this leads directly to achieving the parasympathetic (the nervous system’s job of relaxing and reducing the body’s activities) condition which our bodies need on a regular basis.

Tips:

  • Sit down and separate your tasks from other people’s tasks at home and work. Then don’t interfere in the other person’s tasks as much as possible.
  • At least once a day try to relax your mind and body for 20 minutes, even if you fail, over time you will get better and better. Sometimes reading a favorite book or author helps.
  • Come to the Get Back Health Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic this week and get your nervous system realigned.. You deserve the best version of yourself.
