Motivation and You

Woman with arms out at beachYour motivation is not something you can lose, because it’s not something you have.

True enough without motivation we may achieve very little in life.

Most of us want to do the best in life and get the best outcomes. This is not always immediately possible. Therefore, we need to be motivated to achieve our goals. In fact without goals it’s very difficult to focus our energy in the first place.

Motivation (from Latin movere to move: the idea of being moved into action to achieve a goal) starts with setting goals and when you don’t set goals for yourself you may end up working on other people’s goals which may or may not benefit you.

One of the problems we can face with goal setting is making the length of time too long and interest becomes disinterested in terms of motivation.

The solution is to make weekly and even daily goals for us. There should be enjoyment too in this and you should involve family and friends as in your life you walk with these people and they usually are interested in your welfare.

Motivation comes from you and to a lesser degree your brain. A healthy balance of mind and body is the result of you being motivated.

Tips:

Take time out with yourself for 15 minutes and check if you are on your own goals and if not make some effort to put your goals in place and start action towards them.

Exercises oxygenate the tissues and realigns the body. This is a good basis to set a baseline for your new weekly motivation.
