Ebola

What has been mentioned on the news a lot recently is the outbreak ebola in West Africa.  Frequently mentioned are the concerns over the global pandemic.  I would like to help alleviate some of those concerns right now.

It is certainly bad in Africa with approximately a 40%+ fatality rate, it is not an aerborne disease and therefore not likely to spread far beyond its endemic (native) regions.  It obviously can spread via contact or direct contact to people who have visited the area and then to a small extent to the people around them, but its relatively easy to identify and contain outside of endemic areas.

As such I hope I can help prevent some even minor fears or concerns you have about the disease.  However do bear in mind that in west Africa it is a matter of concern and I encourage you to help if at all possible through charitable donations.
