Costotransverse Dysfunction

Spine modelThe spine is composed of 7 vertebrae cervical, 12 thoracic, 5 lumbar and the sacrum, who articulate between them.

Furthermore, around of thoracic vertebrae articulate the ribs by the costotransverse joints.

Like the others joints, these ones can be dysfunctional and be a source of pain.

This can result in exquisite pain at a specific point laterally to the spine or between the shoulders, which can be greater on deep inspiration.

Chiropractic treatment, through an adjustment, restores mobility to the painful joint and frees the area.
